Le service de 16 lits, pris en charge par deux praticiens à temps plein, fait partie d'une fédération de services avec la médecine interne, totalisant 30 lits. Il offre d'importantes opportunités de consultation, ainsi que des équipements techniques de pointe tels que fibroscopie, coloscopie, échographie, et possibilité d'écho-endoscopie. La ville, bien desservie et en pleine évolution, offre une qualité de vie agréable avec de nombreuses infrastructures pour les familles et loisirs variés.
