Cet établissement public assure des missions de premier recours comprenant les urgences, la maternité, l’addictologie, la gériatrie, un Centre d’Action Médico-sociale Précoce (CAMSP), et un centre de consultations. Il œuvre au sein d’un réseau de partenariats, notamment avec un modèle pionnier de collaboration public-privé, incluant une clinique chirurgicale et un centre d’imagerie médicale. Les missions incluent les activités d’urgence, de chirurgie programmée, de chirurgie ambulatoire et de consultations, avec des relations privilégiées avec les anesthésistes. La direction soutient le développement de projets chirurgicaux. Pour être éligible, les candidats doivent être titulaires du DESC de chirurgie orthopédique et traumatologique et être inscrits à l'Ordre des médecins.
